Sponsor an ECC member

In order to minimise spam e-mails, e-addresses on this page are written - Name (at) domainname (dot) suffix - instead of -

 name@domainname.suffix

A typical ECC member is a hard working and generous sort, and sometimes they can be found giving up their precious time training for a sponsored event of some sort to raise funds for a good cause.

In previous years, the ECC has held sponsored rides around the borough, ridden to Cambridge (!), and been chauffer 'driven' around on a 24 seater bike all for charity. You can read about some of these happenings on this website.

This year some members are exerting themselves again for a good cause -

Maria Balbi completed the London Marathon but it's not too late to sponsor her - see her 'Justgiving' page here. Maria is raising funds for the 'Honeypot' charity.

Dave Princep is preparing to cycle from Lands End to John O'Groats - known as the End to End or Le Jog! See Daves' 'Justgiving' page here. His chosen charity is Namibia Conservancy, supported by the WWF.

Kieron Desmond  is also cycling End to End (to keep Dave company!). His chosen charity is Re-Cycle, a scheme that collects unwanted bikes and ships them to Africa for repair and re-use. To sponsor Kieron, see him on a club ride or at a meeting or BMW, or email him on  -  kieron555(at)aol(dot)com

Angela Simoes is cycling from London to Paris for her chosen charity - Medecins du Monde UK, an international humanitarian aid organisation. See Angela's Justgiving page here to sponsor her.
