Rides & Events diary

All riders under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.    All return times are approximate.  Most rides make a lunchtime stop at a cafe or a pub which serves food, so bring money for this.  Alternatively, you could bring your own packed lunch with you.

You should also bring -

*A spare inner tube to fit your bike and a puncture repair kit.

*Some basic tools (ask at a workshop or on a ride).

*Waterproofs if the weather is undecided!

*Bike lights if there is any chance of us being back after dark.

Our rides have a leader plus a designated person who rides at the back, known as a  "backstop" -

bullet

When on a ride, to ensure that nobody gets lost, always check to make sure that the cyclist behind you is in sight at junctions and notes which way you are turning.

bullet

Please avoid riding in front of the leader or behind the backstop, and no more than two abreast, or singly when in traffic and on narrow roads.

bullet

Observe the Highway Code.

For more information on ride safety and etiquette, read the 'Ride Guide' here
